A Retro Desk Clock with a Pixel Display

Without a doubt, the Pixel display is one of the MOOD A’s most eye-catching features. Instead of simply displaying numbers, it combines animated graphics, soft lighting, and mechanical controls with an aesthetic inspired by classic video games.

This way, the device not only lets you check environmental conditions but also serves as a decorative element for your desk, office, or bedroom.

A Clock That Shows Temperature and Humidity with Animated Expressions

The MOOD A also transforms environmental data and reminders into animated expressions and graphics. For example, it displays a smiling face when the temperature and humidity are comfortable, and an uncomfortable expression when the environment is too dry or hot.

The display also switches between a sun and a moon depending on the time of day. This lets you see at a glance what the conditions are like in your space, without having to interpret numbers.

Reminders to Drink Water and Take Breaks

The device also includes hydration reminders every 60 minutes and stretch reminders every 30 minutes, designed to accompany you during extended periods of work, study, or entertainment.

Instead of persistent sounds, the reminders appear as animations on the display. This gives you a discreet, visual way to remember to take short breaks throughout the day.

Mechanical Joystick for Controlling the MOOD A

One of its most distinctive features is the mechanical joystick. With a gentle movement in one direction, you can change the lighting mode, while another lets you manage the reminders for hydration and exercise. Unlike touch controls, it provides a more satisfying tactile feel.

In addition to making interaction easier, this control inspired by classic video games contributes to the product’s retro aesthetic and enhances the overall experience of using the digital desk clock.

How the Clock Measures Temperature and Humidity

As a clock with built-in humidity and temperature sensors, the MOOD A works as a desk thermo hygrometer and displays temperature with a resolution of 0.1 °C and humidity with a resolution of 1% RH. The data is also updated approximately every 30 seconds.

The temperature range is -9.9 °C to 60 °C, while the humidity range is 0 to 99% RH. However, the stated accuracy is ±2 °C for temperature and ±7% RH for humidity, so the readings should be considered a general reference for indoor conditions rather than professional laboratory measurements.

A Compact Retro Desk Clock That Also Sits on Your Monitor

With dimensions of 156 × 68 × 28 mm and a net weight of 116 g, this temperature and humidity clock takes up very little space and can easily be moved from one location to another. Its design also combines rounded shapes, soft colors, and an illuminated Pixel display.

Its shape allows it to be used in two ways: standing on your desk or resting on top of your monitor, where it stays within view without taking up desk space.

What Customers Are Saying

★★★★★

4.8 out of 5 · 50 reviews from U.S. retailers

Customers especially appreciate its retro design, compact footprint on the desk, and reliable temperature and humidity display.

One thing to keep in mind is that some customers expected the signs on top to be easier to change: they are stickers that attach to the magnetic decoration. The manufacturer also notes that while charging via USB-C, the device’s temperature rises, so the reading is more reliable when it is unplugged. A full charge takes about one hour.
