AOCHUAN Smart XE Phone Gimbal: Foldable 3-Axis Stabilizer

The Smart XE is a 3-axis phone gimbal that removes shake from your videos, even when you walk or run. It weighs 350 g, folds up to fit in your backpack, and has a focus wheel and zoom lever on the handle, so you control the shot without touching the screen.

It comes in three versions: Standard, With RGB Light, and With AI. They all use the same gimbal; what changes is the included accessories.

Which Phone Gimbal Version Should You Choose?

If you already have the Standard version, you can add the AI tracking module separately later.

Four Filming Modes on the Phone Gimbal

Switch modes with one button, depending on the shot you want:

• F (standard): forward moves, pans, crane shots, and low angles.
• DM (auto rotation): the image rotates on its own with one click.
• POV: diagonal moves and shots from multiple perspectives.
• GO: follows your movements quickly for snappy transitions.

Focus Wheel and Zoom Lever

On the side of the handle there's a wheel to adjust focus and a lever to zoom while you film. That way you get smooth zooms, like with a video camera, without letting go of the gimbal.

Magnetic Clip That Rotates 180°

The clip holds phones 55 to 90 mm wide and rotates 180° to switch between landscape and portrait. It also has magnetic points where the fill light snaps on in a second.

Magnetic RGB Fill Light

The With RGB Light version includes a small light that snaps magnetically onto the clip. This way, it lights up your face when filming at night or in low light, and you can change its color to give your video a different mood.

A 350 g Foldable Phone Gimbal

Folded, it measures 16.3 × 10.8 × 5.5 cm, so it fits in your backpack or a large pocket. Plus, at 350 g it's comfortable to use one-handed on a trip or an outing.

Handheld or on the Table

It comes with a tabletop tripod for filming yourself seated, and the base has a standard 1/4" thread for mounting it on an extension pole or a larger tripod.

Phone Gimbal Battery: 2600 mAh

It charges via USB-C in about 3.5 hours. The manufacturer lists up to 10 hours, but that figure is on standby; while filming, battery life depends on your phone's weight and how much the motors move.

AOCHUAN App and Gesture Control

The AOCHUAN app is free, requires no sign-up, and works on iPhone and Android. It connects via Bluetooth and gives you features like time-lapse, panoramas, and gesture control: make an OK sign with your hand and the gimbal starts following you.

Phone Gimbal with Face Tracking

It detects your face and keeps it centered in the frame as you move. That's why it's ideal for filming yourself, with no one needed to hold your phone.

Body Tracking at a Distance

It follows your full body up to 20–30 meters away, according to the manufacturer. So you can film yourself dancing, running, or working out.

Object Tracking

Select an object on the screen and the gimbal follows it: your pet, a product you're showing, or a toy car.

Tracking During Live Streams

Tracking also works with your phone's camera and apps like TikTok, so you can go live while moving without leaving the frame.
